Snow paradise for kids!
Children love it when the first snowflakes fall! Here they can run straight out into the white splendour to build snowmen and igloos or to organise a fun-filled snowball fight. Thanks to the minimal traffic around our farm, the children can let off steam here as much as they like in the snow, and return with red cheeks to their cosy holiday apartment at Oberdeutinghof.

The vast range of winter sport possibilities shows that a winter holiday in Saalfelden on our family farm has a lot more to offer than skiing and snowboarding in the most beautiful skiing regions: Winter and snow-shoe hikes, ice-skating and Bavarian curling or the alpine delight of skiing tours. Furthermore, there are several toboggan runs in the region. The 6 km-long natural toboggan run on the Biberg in Saalfelden or Leo's Kufengaudi on the Asitz are recommended.
Saalfelden is also perfect for a cross-country skiing holiday. The 80 km-large cross-country skiing trail network is perfectly prepared daily and provides a classic and a skating trail. At the Ritzensee lake, the 2.5 km-long World Cup cross-country skiing trail awaits sporty cross-country skiers and skaters, and is illuminated daily until 22 hours. Our secret tip for romantics: Allow yourself to be pulled through the magical winter landscape by two powerful Noriker horses. We will happily organise a horse-drawn sleigh ride for you.
